“One thing we like about the drop pan is, it actually shows the quality of the grain and if we’re throwing grain over. So, it gives us better judgement on how to set the combine. It tells you how much you’re throwing over and then you start dealing with how you can improve that on your combine. Everyone should know [their losses]. It’s beneficial to know or it’s profit that you could be just throwing out the window.”

“Before using the BranValt MiniCombine, I would have just gone out there and threshed some grain by hand or whatever. If I felt like it was anywhere close, I would just fire up a combine to see where it tested. The MiniCombine is able to get a sample so I can see what it really is testing so I can make a decision on whether to have a crew get ready to come out. I don’t have to fire up a combine. I can take it to another field to check without moving a combine. Very handy.”
