The MiniCombine is suitable for harvesting a wide range of grain crops, such as wheat, barley, oats, rye, millet, and similar grains. It can effectively handle crops with varying sizes and moisture levels.

The MiniCombine has a modest capacity of 1000 ml. Its compact size and smaller harvesting width make it ideal for small plots or fields.

Yes, the Mini Combine can be used for organic farming practices. It is designed to handle a wide variety of grain crops, including those grown using organic methods (wheat, oats, barley, hemp, etc.)

No, this self-contained unit comes with 4 interchangeable concaves that do not require any tools.

  • Remove the battery to ensure safety before anything.
  • Open the rear trap door by releasing the two clips holding the plate. It is the shape of the trapdoor that holds the concave in place.
  • In a seated position, holding the MiniCombine on your lap or in between your knees, remove the red de-awning plate, if required, and extract the unwanted concave insert.
  • Replace with wanted concave insert. Use the main door to line up your concave properly and secure it in place. Replace the de-awning plate if necessary.
  • Close the rear trap door.

The MiniCombine is designed with user-friendliness in mind, and it requires minimal training to operate effectively. However, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the product manual and safety guidelines before operating.

The Mini Combine requires regular maintenance to keep it in optimal condition. Before starting on regular maintenance, ensure that the battery is removed before working on the machine. The maintenance schedule typically includes tasks such as cleaning with a blower, checking that no liquid has gotten into the machine, and checking for worn or damaged components.

The Mini Combine is primarily designed for harvesting grain crops. While it may be possible to harvest certain other crops, it is recommended to consult with the manufacturer or an authorized dealer to determine suitability. This machine can, after satisfactory tests, could be used to take samples of other cereals, some oleaginous plants, some leguminous plants, some aromatic plants, or some medicinal plants.

  • 12×32 for Faba beans, and other similar seeds.
  • 10.5×23.5 for Peas, Soybeans, and other special seeds
  • 3.5×7 for Canola and other small seeds
  • 5×20 for Barley, Oats, Buckwheat, Rice, and Sorghum.

The MiniCombine comes with a Lithium-Ion Battery 14.4 DCV 3000 mAh 43.2 Wh. Its charging time is approximately 120 minutes, depending on the voltage and frequency. It is imperative to recharge the battery every 3 months, and once it is discharged. Without respect for these requirements, lifetime of the battery is limited, and the 12-month guarantee cannot be supported.

Sampling time will vary depending on specific grain and/or conditions. Based on testing, sampling time for wheat or barley is approximately 3 minutes. The MiniCombine could potentially be effective to harvest Ryegrass if it is dry and standing. However, ryegrass has very tiny seeds (approx. 0.5 in.) which can be hard to seperate from chaff. However, the MiniCombine can take a dirtier (more chaff) sample and sieve it through once more.

We found that one can get approximately 8-12 samplings with a fully charged battery, depending on conditions.

The MiniCombine could potentially work on Hemp, but it could also be a bit tricky. Hempseed can sometimes be very chewy and could gum up. You may want to manually feed the pods through the MiniCombine at first and see whether you are satisfied with the results.
